Chupa Chups
I grew up in a very, very strict household. I was an only child and both my mother and father were way too overly protective. They had to know where I was, who I was with and what I was doing every second of every minute of every hour of the day. It was freakin’ ridiculous.I was a good kid too; there was no need for them to be so strict. I had no desire to experiment with drugs or alcohol. I went to school every day and I got straight A’s. And as far as getting in trouble with boys, there weren’t even any boys interested in me in my younger days; my pigtails, acne, bifocals and braces weren’t exactly magnets for the opposite sex.
There was one thing that I had a deep desire for, one thing my parent s couldn’t shield me from, and that was Chupa Chups Lollipops. I was mesmerized by the Spice Girl’s Chupa Chups commercials, it looked like they were having so much fun eating those delicious lollipops! All the colors were so beautiful and the flavors were so plentiful. Unfortunately for me my parents didn’t allow sweets in the house and forbid me from eating any candy.
I could obey all their other rules, but this was too far. I wanted to taste some Chupa Chups Lollipops, and nothing and nobody was going to stop me. One day my mother and I were out shopping and we needed gas for the car. At the station she gave me money to go in and pay for the gas, which I did…but I also purchased for myself some Chups Chups at the register. As I walked back to the car I smoothly pocketed her change in my jacket’s left pocket and the Chupa Chups in the right.
Later that night my parents tucked me into bed and wished me good night, and a good night it was. There alone in the dark I had my very first taste of a Chupa Chup Lollipop and it was sublime, pure ecstasy on my tongue. The flavor danced on my taste buds and caressed my soul. It was a rush, unadulterated orgasmic delight. So many years later I still sneak and eat my Chupa Chups Lollipops and my parents still have no idea…ignorance is bliss.
